Jim Lok loves music ever since he was a little kid but it went to a next level in '14. Instead of  clubbin' Jim started to play behind the turntables. One year later Jim had his first gig at the event 'Vrijdag Middag Collektief' in club Paradigm, Groningen. 
He played soulful funk, disco and house on vinyl. The local scene started to pick up his passion, thrive and happiness. Resulting in multiple gigs through clubs or events in Groningen.  Such as ZeeZout on Tour, OOST, IIWII, Wolter Wolthers and even becoming a resident of club Paradigm. Being a resident put his appearance next to Moodymann, Âme, Efdemin, Palmbomen, Tyree Cooper, Detroit Swindle, Tama Sumo, Dennis Ferrer, Marcel Vogel.
Getting more and more inspired by the day Jim went into the studio. Delivering his first release this year on Ballyhoo Records called 'Still Fukkin' With It'. A remix of 'Still Fukking With It' was being picked up by Prins Thomas and aired in Detroit Swindle's Groove Podcast 168. 
At the moment Jim is in the studio creating another great track! 

Cashmere Radio (Berlin, Germany) aired Jim Lok's original track 'Still Fukking With It' on their show in March. Alongside a one hour mix by Fred P.
